How long do I need a wedding photographer for?

Maybe this is one of the most important event’s within your life. We generally recommend starting from bridal and groom preparations, leading up to the first dance, with everything in between. This covers you for all the key moments throughout your special day.

How does it work?

We recommend meeting with you for a coffee and maybe a chocolate muffin. We recommend this to fully understand your vision of the photographs you desire. We create a mood board with you to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Although we are known for our unique style we understand that certain photographs are not for everyone. We dial in your vision for the perfect photographs to deliver exactly what you want.

How many final photographs do we receive?

Between 350 – 500 fully edit images. The number of images you receive is dependent on how long you have us documenting your day for. You will receive your final images via USB and a private online gallery.

Why have an engagement shoot session?

This is much more than just celebrating your engagement. Here are the 3 main benefits of having an engagement shoot session:

An engagement shoot helps build a stronger relationship with you and us. It will build trust between us and it’ll be easier to communicate with you on the wedding day since you’ve worked together prior to it. This will lead to improved wedding day imagery.

Before an engagement shoot, we help craft a mood board with you so you can tailor the shoot to your vision and what you want in terms of the activities, the style, and the look. After the photo shoot, we can discuss with you the images that you loved and the ones that you didn’t, so that you’ll know going into the wedding day what your vision is and you can be aligned with ours.

All of the reasons above end up improving the wedding day imagery of your photographs and helps assist in building a stronger relationship.

When the big day comes, we won’t be a stranger just showing up on your wedding day.

What if it rains?

Part of hiring any professional wedding photography is our ability to create stunning photographs whatever the situation. We carry professional lighting, which gives us the ability to also create stunning photos indoors.

What if I don’t like my photograph being taken?

We have never spoken with one couple that likes their photograph being taken. Any professional wedding photographer knows that understanding how your camera works is only 20% of doing the job. The other 80% is making you feel relaxed in front of the camera. We aim to make it more of an experience than a photoshoot, which translates into better photographs.

How long does it take to get the photos?

Your final images will be delivered within 3 weeks of your wedding day.

Can we buy prints?

Of course. You can buy them direct from your online gallery or if you prefer you can use a preferred printer company.

Do we have the full rights to our photos?

What if you become ill on our wedding day?

It has never happened yet. However if I was not able to attend your wedding day due to ill health or some act of god, then I would supply a fellow wedding photographer. I also teach photography and have several past students that have been taught by me, which means you will still have the same style photographs.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. We carry full public liability insurance.

What if your camera equipment breaks down?

We carry several cameras in the event of the equipment failure.

I’m not sure what parts of the day I want photographed. What shall I do?

Most couples are not professional wedding photographers. We have been through the process many times over and want to guide you through the process of what is needed for your requirements and set realistic expectations. We usually do this over a nice cup of coffee and a chocolate muffin (-:

Do you do videography?

Not personally. However we know people within the industry and can recommend a videographer that will create a stunning video for you.

Do you do wedding albums?

Yes. We work closely with a third party located in Italy. All albums are hand made and fully bespoke to your taste.
