When I first meet with Claire and Peter we all instantly got on with each other. We meet in a small coffee shop on a cold December. Talking about their special day. The theme they’re having and the types of photos they want.

The conversation flowed and soon turn to films and talking about good documentaries on Netflix. All of a sudden the wedding photography become the least important of our conversations. I think Claire and Peter were happy with my portfolio of work prior to meeting with me and just wanted to check that I didn’t have two heads because that would be a little weird. And slightly embarrassing for their wedding day. Well at least they would have more photos if that was the case 😀

When I discussed the idea of an engagement shoot with Claire and Peter they instantly loved the idea and saw the value in it immediately. We get to build a stronger relationship. I get to deliver them better wedding day photo’s because they would used to having a professional wedding photographer around and what it feels like to stand in front of the camera. Plus, they also have other professional photos done along side their wedding photos.

We meet at the place where Peter engaged to Claire, just before sunset. It was a warm May evening and we all were having a great time, which I believe shows in the final photos. As cheesy as it sounds, I could truly feel the love between Claire and Peter as a captured these special moments in their special place.
