Kristin and Craig – The Reid

Kristin and Craig are a couple that have a great sense of humour. Within five minutes of first meeting with them I was crying with laughter. We spoke more about Peaky Blinders (a series on Netflix) and how we believe Tommy Shelby (a charter within Peaky Blinders) to be the hero in series. We all immediately got on with each other and believe it or not the wedding photography become secondary.

This isn’t my usual approach to the Champagne meeting. But Kristin and Craig done their research prior to meeting with me and they just wanted to check that I didn’t have two heads 😀 And that I was available to shoot their wedding day at The Reids in Billericay.

Kristin and Craig wanted a photographer that understood them. Sure, it was important that I could take a good photograph but it was more important to them that they had someone at their wedding who “got them”.

A week before the big day

Me and Kristin where talking via Facebook messenger about how quickly the time has gone since we first meet at the Champagne meet. How excited she was about Marrying Craig. I knew this was going to be a wedding full of joy, laughter, and fun. And more importantly celebrating the love of Kristin and Craig.

I reassured Kristin that I would call her and Craig the night before their big day to check in with them that everything is OK. Ready for the beginning of their new journey together.

Over a period of several month’s I can safely say we are all very good friends. We are now even Facebook and Instagram buddies and I know we will be talking several years from now.
