Lucy and Martin’s Wedding – Waltham Abbey Church

I am sitting in the office editing photo’s and the phone rings. It was Rebecca calling asking about if I was available to document their wedding in Brentwood at The Warley park golf club. We went over dates and more over the phone, and Rebecca decided to book me right away based on seeing my portfolio from my website. Not our normal process but Rebecca was so excited and over an hour and a half talking over the phone about wedding dresses, wedding Veil’s, shoes, it sort of felt like I made a best friend, as cheesy as that sounds.

I really loved Rebecca’s energy over the phone. Calm but excited all at the same time. I knew her and Bjon’s wedding were going to be a bit special.

The day before:

So, I call Rebecca. See what she is up to. With the girls having a cheeky bottle of wine. Nice and relaxed. Looking forward to the day and to put the cherry on the cake, we have the weather on our side.

After I call Bjon. In the hair dressers getting himself prepared for his big day. Super calm. Cool. And ready for his big day (as soon as the hair cut was done).

It was a fantastic day. Elvis. Sun. Pimms. It was a wedding made in Elvis heaven.
