When I first meet with Samantha & Jake in 2018 and they booked me as their wedding photographer at Apton Hall, I knew we were going to have a special day.

It was obvious to me how much Samatha & Jake really loved each other. And how important their wedding was going to be to them. There was so much going on and little things that made a big difference to their wedding. Suck as Jumping the broom, the first look, sparklers, smoke bombs, readings during the ceremony only to mention a few aspects.

What is Apton Hall like as a wedding venue?

Having photographed couples at over 100 venues within Essex, London and Kent, I can truly say Apton Hall is one of the better ones. Here are a few reasons why:

1. Staff
The staff at Apton Hall are professional, friendly, and most importantly attentive. The are important attributes to have if you are wanting your wedding day to run smoothly. Making sure your guest’s are happy and also making sure the day runs smoothly is key. What I noticed mostly about Apton hall and their staff is how they always kept me in loop with the running of the day, which meant my client got the photos they wanted.

2. Grounds and photographic opportunities
The grounds at Apton Hall are stunning and well maintained. Closed off to the public means you will have a truly private wedding day. The grounds are large with ample space for 100 + guests. This provides a sea of photographic opportunities. Particularly the large field at the front of the venue, which is gorgeous at sunset. 

3. Food and drink
The food and drink at Apton hall is of very high quality. Having being served a 3 course by Apton hall, I was very impressed by the quality of food presented by the venue. Fresh, well presented, and fantastic ingredients well obviously use, or so my palate thought. 

Conclusion

I believe the photos in the gallery really show how lovely Apton Hall is and the love that Samantha & Jake have for each other is clear to see.
