Wedding photographer at Gosfield Hall for Danni & Ross

Gosfield hall is maybe one of the most prestigious wedding venues located within Essex, which made it perfect for Danni’s and Ross’s wedding.

When I spoke with Danni and Ross for the first time on the phone, it was clear we were a good fit for each other because we shared very similar interest’s and we were definitely on the same wave length.

So on the day, the energy was high, friends and family were super excited, and Danni and Ross looked like they had just been peeled straight off the Gucci cat walk, which I believe you can see in the photos below.

Gosfield hall is an incredible wedding venue, however, should it rain on your wedding day (as for Danni & Ross), it can prove to be a little challenging if you have more than 60 guests.

This is because you are not able to utilise the outdoor space and as of yet, the wedding venue does not have an outdoor gazebo, which is a shame.

Unfortunately, on Danni & Ross’s wedding day, it rained the entire day! So the photos below give you a feel of what can be achieved from a photographic point of view, should it rain at Gosfield Hall, Halstead.

The upside to Gosfield hall, is when the sun is out, you get to utilise the outdoor space, and the venue turns into never never land. Giant statues of dear, chess games, water features, all add to the grande feel of Gosfield Hall. Danni and Ross were extremely easy to work with. Danni’s dress was absolutely amazing and Ross looked like a million dollars.

After speaking with Ross on their wedding day, I asked him:

why did you pick me as your wedding photographer? You had a choice of any wedding photographer you wanted? – His repose was, Your photography and personality John. 

I believe this really comes through in the photography below. Our energy was aligned on the day. Laughing consistently, joking, and there was definitely no awkward moments. It’s just felt right, especially when Ross put a beer just after the speeches.
